Join Texas Grandparents Raising Grandchildren for Day at the Capitol on Thursday, March 4, 2027, in Austin!
This special advocacy day gives grandparents, kinship caregivers, and supporters the opportunity to come together and make sure the voices of Texas grandfamilies are heard. Participants will learn more about the legislative process, connect with elected officials and their staff, and share the real-life experiences of families raising children outside of the traditional parent-child household.
You do not need to be an advocacy expert to participate. TXGRG will help caregivers feel informed and prepared to confidently share their stories and advocate for policies that strengthen and support kinship families.
